Raised in a distant cloistered cell of Firbolg druids, Alder grew up with vastly different interests than his more naturalistic community. Once Alder was of age he was sent out on a pilgrimage to seek out knowledge and new ways of life to one day bring back to the community. While wandering the world Alder gathered new ideas and techniques of artifice after years of apprenticeship before being called on once again to put boots on the ground and begin his travels again. He’s accompanied by his trusty sidekick Rowan, a metallic marvel of a creature modeled after a rarely sighted creature from his homeland. Together the pair have set out again to learn anything and everything they can about the fantastical world around them.

A remnant of an ancient civilization long since dead, Ozymandias is a man with little concrete history to be found despite his unique nature. Though, wherever you go you may hear the tales; A titan of blackened metal, eyes aglow with the dullest glimpse of the hells, carrying a hammer that could shake the very world. Survivor, nomad, weapon, mercenary; all words to have described him thus far. A man of few-ish words and a headlong approach to problems (that tend to involve the use of a large hammer), he always leaves an impression wherever he goes. Indeed, though the history books have little to say of Ozymandias thus far the tales around campfire and tavern table alike always remember; they remember battles where a great tower of a man crushed his enemies, caravans shielded from harm by a metal guardian, of a river of blood flowing deep into the world behind a burning tyrant, and many more. One tale always follows these stories, no matter the telling. They say that many years ago a lone man walked out of a death-cursed place…
